DOCSIS Pre-Eq and PNM :: (Part 2)

As a follow up to Part one (which can be viewed here) Part two we will cover how pre-equalization data can be used to identify upstream impairments through Proactive Network Maintenance (PNM) and why this is valuable to a cable operator. Join us page to ensure that you can view the event.

Proactive Network Maintenance (PNM) in combination with DOCSIS pre-equalization are game changing technologies for the cable industry. PNM started as a technology research project at CableLabs and has now gone into full production in some large (and small) MSOs and cable operators systems via Nimble This. The results have been startling on the reduction of repeat CSR calls and ability to identify plant impairments. So be sure to join us as we discuss more technical details on this cool topic.
