- 55% of U.S. Homes Now Subscribe to a Streaming Service according to a new survey by Deloitte, up from 49% last year. According to the firm’s survey of 2,088 consumers, said more than half of current streaming customers chose to subscribe to a service based on access to exclusive content.
- Survey: 56% Keep Cable TV Because It’s Bundled With Internet. A new study notes that a majority of American consumers keep their traditional pay TV cable service because it’s bundled with their broadband connection. For decades ISPs have offered users a “discount” if they bundle phone, TV (and now wireless) service with their broadband line.
