IBBS

If you are one of IBBS’s broadband service providers that will be in attendance during September 13-14, 2011 for their symposium, I will look forward to meeting you.  I will be presenting two break-out sessions on the latest advancements in DOCSIS 3.0 test equipment.  Further, I will provide some some real-world examples of DOCSIS 3.0 impairments, upstream channel bonding issues, and how today’s DOCSIS 3.0 test equipment can be used to streamline operations, improve business efficiency and retain subscribers.

SCTE’s Cable-Tec Expo | November 15-17, 2011

Going to be at Cable-Tec Expo?  Make sure to get a full conference pass and take advantage of the technical workshops.  There are a lot of good speakers this year, more than any previous year as they are putting three speakers per 75 minute workshop versus the standard two.  So you will get a lot of bang for you buck.  Plus I will be there to.

This year I will be very focused on a couple of DOCSIS 3.0 topics that I have never talked about previously.  They are incredibly cool and I can’t wait to discuss them on this site after the workshop, but I can’t give it way just yet.  The issues that I will be presenting are very real, happen often in multiple upstream channel bonding, and required software customization for JDSU’s DSAM and PathTrak’s MacTrak systems in order to do an effective job of testing and resolving these types of issues.  So this is definitely cutting edge stuff and JDSU is leading the pack.  So be there or be… – well, you’ll just have to wait until after the show to get the details here.
